This technique was my original Plan A for Cathy's challenge, which got side-tracked when the fun penguins flew in with my Tickle from Susie. But as another wonderful treat flew in and landed in my mailbox this week , I needed a thank-you card and was able to get back to this technique. Surprise, it's so long since I made one that first of all I started following the wrong tutorial, and then I struggled far more than I should have with following the instructions. But here it is...and you can see why I had to use that particular Snoopy stamp. Aren't those felt ornaments the sweetest!!!
I did use black card for the base, but lined it with thin white card so that I could stamp inside. Snoopy stamped, masked, background sponged and spritzed. The blue base looked a bit plain when I was finished, so I stamped the Baroque Motifs swirl all over it, and added a popped-up thank-you sentiment with texture instead of the original one stamped directly on the slider element.
