Thanks for a fun sketch today. Here is the sketch.
I think I had these little elves whispering in my ear this morning. I drew and cut out the ladder with a kraft knife from PTI kraft cardstock. I added a few details and sponged it with SU close to cocoa and crumb cake. I sponged SU mellow moss on an angle and used the pine branch from SU Peaceful Wishes to stamp a tree over it. I scored the right side of the front to look like brick. I masked a few areas of the elves and colored them differently to go onto the ladder. I popped up my ladder and popped up my elves. I ended up leaving the top elf hanging over the edge because he would have just looked silly with his head cut off...
Thanks for looking

Hahaha! Irene, this is spectacular!! What a clever card for the sketch! I love the elves climbing the ladder and they have so much personality! I can't get over that you drew the ladder yourself and scored the bricks (I would've thought it was an EF) and how you stamped the tree. It's all just amazing!

Irene, you have created the most clever and without a doubt the cutest card with this sketch. I am going to have to go hunt down those cute elves. How can they NOT be a part of my Christmas stamp collection??
