On a separate piece of watercolor cs, I used the inking method where you rub your ink on a craft mat, then spritz it with water and then lay/drag/dip your cs in it (coral, orange, pink). Let that dry and then splattered with some gold color shine. When dry, cut this down to the strip you see on the border of my card.
On my card front I stamped the leaves using my MISTI, and building up color on each leaf by sponging ink on the stamp rather than inking it with the full ink pad. I love the softness you get with this technique and your layering shows up so well. Splattered more gold color shine along with some diluted inks (same colors as leaves) and die cut a gold foil sentiment. Assembled and added a gold strip on the border.

This is a gorgeous card Maura!! I love the way you used the gold trim and your created edge using the watercolor paper, for the rims of the bracelet that inspired you. The different colored leaves and gold spatters use the colors well and also create a beautiful fall piece. Awesome!!

Oh, Maura, these leaves are stunning! I grew up in New Jersey and will always remember the colors of the leaves as they change, and you've captured them perfectly. I love the various color splatters that really add so much! Another stunning card! Hugs! xoxo
