I admire the many talented artists on SCS who can watercolor. That doesnÂ’t happen here. I saw this card of hers and decided to give this image a go. If you have not seen her gallery be prepared to sigh and enjoy the incredible work. I did a light wash on my background which was inadequate. Off to a great start here. I did some light random sponging to bring some life into it. I stamped the image and embossed with black, then stamped the sentiment and also embossed. Using her beautiful work as a guide I gave it my best shot. Added some black puddles to the background and drips from the words. I used black Frantage for more spatter. That stuff is wonderful if you are tired of washing walls from trying to spatter. The top was bare the tag looked bottom heavy. I had no appropriate trim so I used a wonky embroidery stitch after piercing. The thread is a very thick cotton used for making re-enactment costumes. The strings are from some jewelry making things I still have here.
Thank you for looking.

I know it gave you fits, but it really is adorable! Had to laugh about ink on the walls - I'm still finding it from a LONG time ago. Frantage was a terrific idea - thanks!

This is so darling I can hardly stand it Nancy! I love what you did to make this wonderful tag! The frantage is a great touch and so is your wonderful stitching at the top of the tag! Wow! Why is it that these stamped mice are so cute, but the real ones give me a start when I see them peering out at me from my knitting bag. LOL. I digress though, your tag is Darling to the 10th power my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.
