This is my card for Ky's Mixability Challenge - Poppies for Vets. I coloured the poppy stamp using marker pens, a bit of huff and puff, and stamped onto white c/s. Coloured the poppies and stems with blender pen and inkpads, used a black marker for the centre of the poppies and added a touch of glitter. Die cut portion of image I wanted, using the oval dies, and sprayed with olive vine glimmer mist. Adhered this to a piece of Prima Doily packaging I had kept. My bg has been stencilled using Sahara Sand ink and then sprayed with the olive vine glimmer mist, too.
May give this to my new DIL for her December birthday as her favourite colour is red! TFL!

Wow Sue this is so lovely. Your poppies look beautiful and I love the doily background. I love the marble-like back panel and ribbon. Your DIL will love this for sure.

Recycled packaging! First thing I noticed after the lovely poppies was the doily background, it's lovely. And your green background is also lovely, reminds me of some handmade paper I used to have.

Oh, Sue, this is beautiful, and your new DIL is going to love it! I love the beautiful poppies, and how clever to use the packaging for DP...I love it. And what a beautifully stenciled background that really makes your focal image pop along with the red and green ribbon treatment! She is really going to love this card! Hugs! xoxo

So Vintage. I love the collection of doilies and the lacy background. Such a pretty poppy image too - nicely set off against that rich red ribbon. Very Pretty,
