Hello, Well I started out good with the Gelli plate bg but went down hill from there. I have the flu so maybe my mojo is drained...I couldn't think of guy embellishments. Well I have the guys from Iwo Jima putting up the flag, America The Beautiful in script and a fantastic sentiment about the American people in gold as well. Stars stenciled with gold metallic paint, poppy popped up and a silver star. Lots of heavy embossing around the edges.
I think it looks like poop but I have no energy to do anything else...sorry!
Thanks for looking!

Robin, your description is as great as your card! Boy are you hard on yourself! Maybe you just looked at it too long but LOVE the background! I'm the queen of ugly gelli's and this one is NOT! It works beautifully with your gold script and gold stars as well as your patriotic image! This is a great card, Robin!

Ah-mazing card Robin. Even more amazing that you made this while so ill. I love the background you created, the fabulous gold stars and gold embossed America the beautiful script. I love how you placed this gorgeous gold poppy in from the men from Iwo Jima raising the flag. You have done our veterans proud while making this remarkable card in their honor. I hope you feel much better real soon here. Hugs! ~Karen.

That flag image on the print background looks fabulous already, and then you've added the stencilled stars, wonderful. Love your yellow poppy. This card most certainly does not look like poop, I think your eyes are affected by how you feel.
My rub-ons are made by Craft-T, and come in a little plastic tray with 6 wells (I think), like a little paint tray. And unlike Inca, they don't seem to go dry. Is that what you have?

Oh, sweet Robin, I'm so sorry that you made this card while you are still feeling so badly after the flu shot. Truly, I hope that means that this year's shot is a good one. But I LOVE this card and think that it fits well in honoring our veterans. First of all, our veterans all served in not so great situations and suffered greatly. So this lends itself the stars that shined through the difficulty (as expressed by your gelli print that is fabulous). And I love the Iwo Jima stamp with the poppy on top. And what a fabulous sentiment you've gold embossed...and after this election, I think we shall see more and more of that. And I love the heavy embossing around the edge. It's an amazing card, my friend, and (like Nancy said) you are far too hard on yourself...and so loved! Feel better! Tender hugs! xoxoxoxo

Hope you are on the road to recovery with your flu. It hasn't slowed you down much - you have still produced a wonderful card. Love the gold embossing around the edges and for a change the lovely yellow poppy too.

Wonderful collage of elements and images. A very thought provoking and "edgy" patriotic card. Love your border and the text is perfect. It's awesome Robin!

It's a good thing you are unwell, because that is the only possible explanation for your bizarre comments. Mate...please continue to make cards but don't upload them until your brain has unfried itself. This and indeed ALL the cards you made this week are fabulous...you are the only one that doesn't think so LOL. xx
