I'm trying to use up some of the papers on my crafting/dining room table. The negative branch die cut is one of many negatives that I have saved. I also had a piece of glossy orangepaper that I had painted with different inks....teal, red and deeper orange. I used that for the bg of the negative die cut. Then matted it with teal cs. The medallion is one which has been sitting on the table for a long time and before that it was in a container of punched flowers. It was made by punching two scalloped circles and pleating them and joining. I added a gold brad and because this is for the alphabet challenge for theletter 'B' the double challenge was using bling, so I added some gold stickles to the brad. Base card was dry embossed.

Now that's the way to use up everything and not waste a bit. This card is beautiful. I like the various colors on that leaf. I, too keep just about everything. I need to start using more of mine. Thanks for the inspiration.

Ina, you are so resourceful (which I love) and you have created a gorgeous card with all of your bits. I love the bold colors behind the leaf image. The embossed background and the beautiful flower medallion are perfect for this card. I love that you added stickles to the brad. You have inspired me to look at my negative spaces in a new way Ina. This is going right into my favs! ~Karen.

Awesome! Beautiful elements for Letter B. Love the negative die-cut branch. The colors behind it are just fabulous. The big flower is great. Nice touch of bling. I like the bumpy background with the embossing. Love the double "B" sentiment. Wonderful birthday card. TFS
