I love shaker cards -- it was one of the techniques I learned when I started card making.
Later on I discovered all the paper techniques from a Dutch designer: Nellie Snellen.
on this card I used her Papuela technique.
A metal template and the Papuela knife was used to cut a pattern in the paper.
A shape of small incisions makes the pattern.
The Papuela needle is used to thread strips of paper through the incisions.
So its a sort of paper weaving technique.
I found this tutorial, its in dutch but the photo's explain it all... http://www.wenskaartenidee.nl/Worksh...aworkshop.html
I love winter violets, they sheer up the winter garden and I used this image for my card.
It's from an old decoupage sheet, cut by hand
The shaker elements are real flower seeds...
