Did you know this week is Dear Santa Letter week? Come play along and get your Christmas wishes on their way to the North Pole!
I had fun typing letters to Santa, I have several versions in different fonts that I'll use for later cards. I sponged on some ink to age the letter and distressed the edges of both the letter and pp. Stamped, colored and fussy cut the images and added Liquid Applique for the fur and snow. I used Wink of Stella to add some sparkle to the snow and gel pens to for the buttons, buckles and mail box. Wrapped ribbon around the panels and adhered the images. Finished it off with the candy canes and bows. TFL

Carla what a fun challenge. I love the striped paper and your adorable images. The added distressing on the edge really gives a nice touch to the card and the ribbon tied as a package is brilliant. Thanks for a great challenge.

Cute images, lovely Santa sitting on the box marked Wishes. What a fab font. I remember trying to learn joined script in those books with lines that you copied, but I was so bad at it that the teacher told me to stick with non-joined up writing.
p.s. why is Santa giving me lots of candy canes when I asked for sugar mice, LOL. Mind you, if they're like the candy canes here I can't complain.
