To make the background for my card, I die-cut 3 butterfly masks out of painter's tape & placed them on the watercolor paper. Watercolored the background with shades of blue & a little red to make purple, & let dry, then spritzed with the glimmer mist. When that dried I removed the mask to reveal the white butterfly shapes.
Fun technique! You should try it!!
