Pretty sketch from Cathy. I did center panel #6 over panel #3 rather than having it offset.
I did have to Google "barberry" since I was unfamiliar with this bush. It's not "bayberry"...this one has deep red foliage....which like boxwood seems to hold it leaves through the winter and has red ovoid berries.
A special thanks to Cheryl Scrivens and her beautiful work with this digi that inspired me to purchase it....even tho' digis are an anathema to me.

I've never seen copics used to create such a soft effect, Sallie! You can use any media and create the most beautiful cards. What a wonderful sketch and it works beautifully with your artwork!

I like all the light papers in the bg and then the darkness of the gray, which brings out your image so beautifully! Pretty sparkle, snow and silver thread to accentuate your sweet birdie!
Barberry are one of my favorite bushes, Sallie. We've had the green and dark burgundy/wine colors both with deep red berries; simply beautiful. They also come with thorns so gloves are a necessity when trimming (ask me how I know this!) They do keep their leaves year round.

Oh, sweet Sallie! Your artwork is amazing, and I absolutely LOVE this dear little chickadee in barberry! What gorgeous Copic coloring, and I agree I love the softness that lends itself to this precious image! Yes, I know digis are not exactly your "cup of tea," but you've made this one SHINE so brightly and delicately with your amazing skill. And what a beautiful sketch card too! So glad you bought this digi and know you will grow to love them! Hehe! Hugs, sweet friend! xoxo

Your little chickadee is so cute and so beautiful - colored wonderfully - and I love the glitter pennant mixed in with the regular papers.
