This card is for Karen's TLC challenge for this week, to " stamp your image. Choose some 'open detail' stamps for best results. I chose flower images and stamped them using black Memento ink.
Next, take a fine-line marker and instead of coloring in the background, fill it in using tiny black dots with the tip of your marker. It is very simple to do and a great way to highlight your stamped image. I left my images black and white to create a monochromatic looking card but you can color your image in if your so choose."
Instead of using black I used pink and green, I needed a baby card and the new mum's favorite colours are pink and green which is fortunate as she has another little girl lol.
I went all round the images with the fine end of both markers then picked out the images with larger dots with the Pretty in Pink marker.
I layered the images onto some craft foam and then onto a strip of Pretty in Pink that had been backed by some blending paper with the borders that had been sponged with Gable Green. I find that my Martha Stewart punches wont work on the SU card stock so I use the blending paper and just sponge what ever colours onto it.
The only other thing I did was to save some of the little hearts that came from the border punch, coloured them, went over them with Wink of Stella and then put SU Crystal Effects onto them and attached them to the corners of the images.....and that's all folks.
Cheers
Marg

Marg,
absolutely stunning images and spectacular job on this week's technical challenge! The dots look amazing the way you placed them around the images!

Precious baby card, Marg. Love the way you used a pink pen for the dots and then concentrated them near the images and getting less and less as you fanned out from them. Beautifully done!
