I'll be back in a while...loved this autumnal color hue, Pam!
These colors were a challenge for me, even though I do like them. Let me tell you how I happened into another room card...when I opened the doors to my studio, I looked down on the floor and saw the silk flower (well, half of one and it was green). My brain was whispering, color it and make it a sunflower roundish rug. So that's the route I took to desert. I colored the petals with a couple of shades of yellow, dotted a brown in the center for the seeds. The chair was inked onto a linen textured olive green cardstock and was embossed in clear. I stamped it a second time to get the legs brown and then popped the first layer onto the bottom.
The window was cut out and inside the card is a tiny pattern of blue skies and clouds. I am looking forward to coming home and sitting and thinkin'.
Thanks for your comments, I hope you all will take some time to sit and think on someone important in your life!

You do use some of the most unusual stamps that I have seen and I love it! Great background paper and your chair has such wonderful texture, like real fabric!

I love the way your mind works - and you write it down! I'll bet your brain whispers a lot. I noticed you have one of your favorites on this card - a chair. I love the simplicity.

You, girl, are so damn creative!!! A little half flower inspired this wonderful scene? Impressive, Susan! I really love the olive chair with the brown legs and the window. Wonderful sentiment, too, such an important thing to take time out to do!
