What alovley gallery Jeanne....great choice....Julie...Here is my card I chose to use...Butterfly Clean and Simple by Penny627 at Splitcoaststampers was going to stick with the 4 squares and all white, but when I started drawing my butterfly it was bigger, so went with one square and added a whisper of color to match him, and added a sentiment there instead of the bottom.
I saw her pretty butterfly and thought what about a Christmas butterfly, wouldn't that be fun...out of the Christmas box lately, with bunnies and butterflies...lol.
I drew him and colored him and then fussy cut him, added the wire anntae's by twirling them around a pen, and then I was having crafters nightmare...again...my glitter glue started dripping and running red so .hmm...had to add a snowflake...then went to take a picture and realized....man...a red berry happened to fall down on it too now soooo....a trail of snowflakes...lol..oivey...Thanks for the visit...running to put him away for Christmas before something else happens to the poor ting...;0)

I have to say, this is the MOST creative butterfly I have ever seen and it is outstanding! What a surprise for the recipient. Thanks for giving me a laugh at your story of the "mistakes" - we have all been there!

I love this card - from the holly butterfly (adorable) to all the snowflakes. And I love how the card evolved. But isn't that always how it goes? Like a butterfly, it starts as one thing and ends as another!
