I began by creating my candies. I punched 3 circles from bristol paper with a 1" circle punch, then lightly penciled in the stripes. I erased the lines almost completely when I had them spaced right, and colored in every other section with my red Zig marker. To keep the color from running when I applied Glossy Accents, I coated each candy with Distress Glaze. For my background, I inked one side of the embossing folder with Lady Bug, and embossed a panel of bristol paper. I used my ruler & craft knife to cut a window in the front, and also to cut a frame from burgundy cardstock. I marked on the front of my card base where the window went, and cut that as well. I then traced that onto the inside of the card base, and used that as a guide to position my greeting. I stamped the first line in Rhubarb Stalk, and the "Happy Christmas" in Lady Bug ink. Finally, I adhered my panels together, and glued down my candies along the bottom of the window. The color still ran a bit, even with the Distress Glaze coating, so I was just ultra careful when I applied the Glossy Accents.
