For Lydia's second Falliday challenge, we were to create a salted watercolor background. This was fun and something I hadn't done before.
I used Island Indigo and Garden Green inks on watercolor paper. Interestingly, the pink himalayan sea salt I used seems to have brought a yellow tone out as well. Very fun technique, I like the results! I then embossed the tree, added ribbon, sequins, and a sentiment, popping the sentiment up.
Thanks for looking.

Catherine,
a beautiful blending of fantastic colors! Your technique turned out wonderfully! I love the heat embossed beautiful tree in the middle and the wonderful sequins added for extra bling!

Catherine, your salted background is really stunning! And this tree image stamped 2 times and embossed once looks amazing with this background. I love the ribbon and sequins too! ~Karen.
