Looks like you may have done this but you could put a dab of crystal effects on the point of the pin to cover the sharp end. How about even doing a 'big' glob of crystal effects and sprinkle with dazzling diamonds? If doing this, I'd just have the pin in for decoration, rather than holding the card closed. Very cute card!
