What do a cashew jar lid, a duct tape core, and an SU button container have it common? Well, they are all hiding under the nuggets and embellishments on this Halloween nugget cake for Falliday Fest. Found the spider web doilies I ordered last year and then never used so made them a part of this cake....This cake will go to my 11 year old grandson who lives here in town because his parents have decided no trick or treating this year because it is a school night. He will receive it tomorrow at the end of the day. I think he will be pleased. This was a fun challenge after I started it...I was a bit intimidated by finding the items to use for layer centers but after deciding it could be slightly different from the directions, things went together fast. AND NOT ONE SINGLE NUGGET PASSED MY LIPS....though that was hard....but I didn't want to pay the piper for that indulgence.

Wow is this ever cute! That beautiful witches hat and spiderweb on the top is absolutely glorious! The addition of the ghosts and multiple wonderful Halloween ribbons add such a dynamic touch to your nugget cake!
