I created the background using the Faux Patina tutorial at Splitcoast (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/re...s/fauxpatina/). I inked my embossing folder with Rich Cocoa, and did the distress inking with Broken China, Evergreen Bough, & a bit of Brushed Corduroy. I used Perfect Paper Adhesive to glue my charms, which I'd colored with black alcohol ink, to my die cut vellum oval. I let that dry for a few hours, and then glued the vellum to my embossed panel, putting the glue behind the feathers. I let that dry for a few hours more, and then inserted a brad in the top of each charm. I printed the greeting onto a strip of green cardstock that I'd inked with the same colors I used on the background. Finally, I matted the panel with black, and adhered it to a white A2 card base.

stunning job on this challenge! That background is just out of this world gorgeous! And those feathers add just the wonderful final touch that sends this over-the-top! So very well done, excellent my friend!
