Oh Robin, I like this! Ribbon laid under an aperture was one of the things I was thinking of, I remember doing it for an HCYYT challenge about three years ago maybe, for Bridget's challenge. But I wouldn't have gone the extra mile of trying to weave it - weaving paper is bad enough!! I love your fun little pumpkins - and those ribbons remind me of the traditional woven Irish belts - crioses...see here if you want!!.
