I'm the Ways To Use It hostess for today and our theme for this week is ribbon. You see my ribbon backing up my masked and painted leaves. I used ribbon as an accent on my card today. Ribbon doesn't have to be an accent, it could be your focal point or used in a very clever way (like my co-hostesses).
My leaves were inspired by a young children's painting project I saw on Pinterest. I was looking for bulletin board ideas for my daughter's teacher and stumbled across the pre-school project. I thought to myself, I can die cut some leaves and do that on a card front. Voila!
Thanks for looking!

Beautiful monochrome card, Toni, that orange autumnal ribbon is beautiful. And I absolutely love your feathery brushtrokes. I find it hard to keep my brush dry enough to get that effect. Combined with the masked leaves it's amazing.

Toni this is amazing! You should add FF16DinaA to the keywowrd if you have not already done that challenge for Fallidays this would totally qualify for Dina's first challenge for Fallidays. Love how the color came out around your leaves. Such a stunning idea and wonderfully executed.
