My card for Lisa's (Shoe Girl) challenge "Whoo Loves You!" to make a card featuring an owl. For some reason, an owl dressed as a pilgrim popped in to my head when I read the challenge!
Please don't make fun of his hat--I sketched it out myself & "fussy cut" it! I realized as I was attaching him to the card that I should have cut a notch in his collar...he looks a bit more like a pastor than a pilgrim! :-) I used the 1/4" square punch to make little squares out of Crushed Curry, & then cut teeny tiny squares out of the Raven & attached them in the center of each CC square to look like buckles.
He is thankful he is an owl, & not a turkey!

Love your splendid details on the owl! Super card design. The leaves in the background of the oval owl and DP panels, and those great brads really put the feel of autumn into your card!

Oh my goodness your owl is adorable. Love the pilgrim and you did a great job with the little squares to finish off the look. I could see he was a pilgrim rather than a pastor. Love the layout and burlap you added too. Finishing off with the leaves is wonderful. Thank you so much for playing in my challenge.
