This is for Dini's Masquerade challenge to use a die cut mask as a stencil with watercolor. I followed her example and used painter's tape to die cut a mask. I used brushos and spritzed with water, swirling it around a bit around the mask. The yellow Thank you is offset on a black layer to help it stand out. Thanks Dini! I plan to use this masking technique again, after I find some wider painter's tape. Using two pieces side by side to cover the width of the die just added to the challenge of working with such a thin-line design. whew!

Ohhhh, I love the Brusho background! I agree about the tape - much easier with the wider width. Frog tape has yellow and green tapes that are wider... the yellow is best for paper, I think, and it's 1.88" wide. Thank you so much for playing along with my Falliday Fest challenge!
