I could relate to the challenge that Yvette posted for Falliday Fest. I live on the shores of Lake Erie, and our winters can get brutal, too. Yvette told us about hoarfrost and how it can make everything sparkle on a cold, still day. Having seen that many times here in Ohio, it is absolutely gorgeous!! The challenge: to create a snowy winter scene, and make it look like snow diamonds. I stamped the tree first in early espresso, then again in Versamark ink. I used heat and stick powder, then added the glitter. It reminds me of the wintery trees I see here at home. Great challenge, Yvette!

Patti,
such beautiful background paper and a wonderful glittering tree as the main image! A beautiful sequins snowflake to add to the splendor of this card!
