This is my card for CC605. Karen is our hostess and has chosen crushed curry, pumpkin pie, cherry cobbler and garden green for the color palette. Dessert this week is leaves.
For my card, I die cut the leaves from several CottageCutz dies with whisper white cardstock. Used a sponge dauber and sponged the leaves in the challenge colors. When that was done I pressed them on a Versamark pad and then used clear embossing powder. IRL there is lots of shine on the leaves that doesnÂ’t pick up on the camera. I saw this technique on the KittieKraft Blog.
I layered the leaves down the side of my card and stamped a few leaves as well. For some reason my 3rd leaf is photgraphing dark. I used garden green and pumpkin pie on this one. On the stamped leaves, I used crushed curry and a cherry cobbler marker for a little definition. I saw a card on the Hero Arts site that I used for inspiration.
Used some StampinÂ’-Up dsp from the Festive party collection on the right side of the card. Stamped a sentiment on a banner, added some gold thread, scattered a few sequins, and with the spritzer tool and a pumpkin pie and cherry cobbler marker sprayed my background.
ThatÂ’s my sample for this week. Hope you can play along with these fall colors. Check out the other DT cards for more inspiration.

Beautiful leaves, I like the way inked several colors in them. I also like the way they are falling down the page. Lovely design with the fiber leaving the impression of movement. Lovely fall card.

Ah, Mary, I love the vertical feel of the leaves falling on this beautiful autumn/Thanksgiving card. The little splatters and gold cord are so pretty, and the sentiment banner is the perfect finishing touch!
