Karen is our hostess this week and she has chosen: cherry cobbler, crushed curry, garden green, pumpkin pie and for dessert: leaves. This also fits our fall fest challenge for fall colors.
I think I have dessert covered this week! I used a "faux batik" method for my bg, where first you white emboss the leaves and splatter stamp, then you fold the cs in many different directions to create creases, unfold it and then sponge your inks - creates this great look like batik!! Then I splattered with diluted inks of the same colors. Sprayed with shimmer mist and loved, LOVED how sparkly that made everything IRL!! Embossed, sponged and fussy cut one extra leaf for the embellishment. Cut, stamped and adhered the sentiment panel, added enamel dots and the extra leaf (on dimensional tape).

Great minds, right? :-) I love this set for fall, and love the Batik technique that you used on your background. This is such a beautiful and bright birthday card!
