I decided on fairy lights for Ky's Lights of the Seasons Falliday Fest challenge! It gave me a great excuse to use a new stamp ;)
I masked the moon and painted the sky with iridescent, grey, pink, turquoise and blue paints, dried it with my heat gun and did it again. It took several layers to get the look I wanted. I removed the mask and painted moon pale yellow, dried it and dragged some grey across for clouds. I used an ink dauber and a foam marshmallow with Brilliance ink for the fairy lights. I stamped the larger fairy and used gel pens for her wings. I stamped a couple additional fairies and stamped the sentiment in the moon. Adhered to a black cardbase and added the flourishes to complete. TFL

A wonderful use of bokeh! Must remember this for my paltry two fairy stamps. OK, my choice, I'm not really into them but I'd love to use this technique with one.
