For Jeanne's patriotic thanks ff challenge. I went nose-down in my bin of experiments and unearthed a couple patriotic bg panels using inlaid dies. I layered three grateful die cuts, shadowing them, and called them done.
clarifying: a crumb quilt is one pieced from the very last tiny scraps of fabric, from the bottom of the last scrap basket.

Holy smokes Brenda, this is just amazing! I think I would like to come over and see what you have in your "experiments" bin! LOL. You have awesome stuff in there. This layered up sentiment is just perfect with the wonderful background you created here. I love it! ~Karen.

Everyone knows quilting is an art, and now you brought it to card making with this amazing creation. Great idea for a thank-you card.....the warmth of the quilt design in the patriotic colors is perfect. thanks for the clarification of the term "crumb quilt". TFS

wonderful work on the Patriotic Challenge. I've seen your fabric stash...hard to believe you saved all these teeny tiny paper scraps too. And it was fun to see paper I recognized. This is super cool.
