DH has had two sick motorbikes recently, and friends/colleagues in work have rallied round to help him. One, who lives on the opposite side of the city, brought DH and his red Ducati home from work on a borrowed bike trailer yesterday, and brought the trailer back into work today to reunite it with its owner. So I needed to make two thank-you cards last night, and had to photograph them before it was properly light this morning.
My wonderful gift from Julia was perfect for this one. Cutting the bike from shrink plastic made it the perfect size...I used translucent plastic and coloured it with Sharpies. Originally I was just going to layer it behind the pick-up, in the back of it, but then I thought I could improvise a trailer. The background is simply stencilled, and the road is Gorgeous Grunge. It looked better in real life!

This is fantastic Sabrina! I just love this wonderful scene you have created, and I giggled when I read that you made this trailer yourself. You know, I forget I can do that too. Now with all the dies we have, I forget that I used to create my own die cuts "in a previous time." LOL. I love your story and love knowing there are good-hearted people in the world who are still willing to help us out when we need it. I love, love, love that you made this motorcycle out of shrink plastic- that is brilliant! I am putting this right into my favs! ~Karen.
