Happy Thursday 'round the whole wide world! I'll be rushing off to work under {a portable roof} in a flash, but I wanted to get this uploaded for Sabrina's WT605 Umbrella challenge. When I read the prompt, I knew I wanted to bring out this hoarded Graphic 45 paper called 'Endless Spring'.
I fussy cut lots of the umbrellas and then made the collaged square. It was lightly embossed to add some structure. The sentiment was also fussy cut and placed under yet another umbrella.
This card is headed off to work with me, intended as an encouragement card for someone who needs a bright
thought today. and makes me think I need a trip to the nearest umbrella store...my dull, drab black umbrella just won't do...I think I'll look for somethin'
snazzy.
Thanks for stopping by, how's the weather where you are?

Snazzy seems to fit YOU perfectly. Those lovely umbrellas collaged in that way are awesome, my girl!! Brilliant thought (again!)!!

A good reminder of the realities of life, LOL - and I so love your panel with all those paper parasols. I can't believe you cut them all out to create the background - well done you! This makes me happy, I'm sure your friend will love it.
A bright umbrella is fun! I have two, both from my favourite shop in Paris, which are both black on the outside but one has different colours lining each panel on the inside, and the other is an abstract swirl like splashes of paint. They both make me feel better when I am using them instead of a plain old monocolour brown one!!

Geez, you fussy cut all those? You have my profound respect, Susan! Love this design. I've never seen you do a card that was ordinary, all expertly designed and this is no exception!

This is super duper fantastic!! I love all those brightly colored umbrellas!! The sentiment is so cool and so true. I find myself tip toeing around, taking a long time to make decisions as if doing everything "right" will eliminate my pain. Nothing does. You and your sentiment are so right. I hope this helps make your friend feel better. :>)

It's a beautiful Spring day here Susan. I bet this card sure brightened your friends day - I love it to bits. That's a gutsy effort to cut up that paper - I bet G45 wish you were on their design team - this looks AMAZING my friend!!!
