Well, the hardest part of this challenge was finding bases for the layers. I ended up making two of them from corrugated cardboard strips and light chipboard glued together. The next big struggle was making A reverse of the ship image, followed by not eating too many nuggets, so I had enough for the cake. This is for my DD's boyfriend's birthday. He like nautical stuff. The nautical expedition DSP, was a help. My DH likes knots, so I had him him tie some knots for me out of white baker's twine for the top. I added a couple of tiny sea shells

I have to agree, finding the bases was the hardest part. I ended up cutting rolls apart to expand them and glued them back to get the different sizes. These nugget cakes are so fun and the papers and die cuts on this one really turned out great.
