I was clearing off my desk trying to be better ready for all the Falliday Fest Challenges and I found a Turquoise base and thought of the desk protector sheet I'd used a while back when I was sponging Razzleberry and Sugarplum, it also had some Turquoise on it and stamped off leaves in Razzleberry too. I cut a piece of it then used my Slate marker to write really loosely/illegibly to have some "script" in the bg. I wanted to accent with flowers and with Sonja's challenge to use a wrinkle technique I went with wrinkle free distress (Which I'm just realizing isn't actually a true wrinkle at all, grrrrrr!). Anywhooo, I smashed my Turquoise ink pad onto a large acrylic block, dabbed a little Razzleberry ink on too then spritzed with water to wet it well. I then dunked a piece of white into the color and dried it, then added another dunking to layer on some more color. Once this was dry I punched my little hydrangeas. I then took my Razzleberry marker and added ink along the edges of the flowers with the brush end then added some detail lines/etching with the fine point. I used the end of a paintbrush pushed into the middles of each flower to give dimension. I layered the smaller flowers inside and put pearl centers in each. I used liquid glue to scatter them around. My sentiment was stamped onto Turquoise then punched out. I tilted my image panel over a panel of Razzleberry and put it all onto my Turquoise base.

Don't change a single wrinkle of it! Beautiful - I going to have to remember this color combo because it is stunning. No need to make another for the challenge unless you just want to send oodles of beautiful cards to St. Francis. I am sure this will be someone's precious treasure. Thank you for playing in my challenge.

So lovely! It reminds me of a shower of flowers falling down. All the time and effort you put into this card, with all the different details, really shows. It's beautiful. TFS
