| | I made this card for the Alphabet challenge for the letter G (for Glistening water, gentle thoughts of you, and gulls). My brother-in-law was just diagnosed with advanced melanoma so I made this card for him. He is the 5th member of his family to get cancer and the 4 before him are sadly now gone so this is a tough time for my husband's family. I wrote a note inside that I hope helps to keep his spirits up and thinking as positively as possible (I am survivor too so hopefully that helps him as well). I struggle to make masculine cards, but they have spent a lot of time on sand bars fishing so I was hoping this card helps to evoke those wonderful memories he has of those good times with his family and friends. |
