I just bought this fabulous stamp from Stamp Salado a few weeks ago, and I couldn't wait to use it. I stamped it with a brown ink, and then colored it with rust and gray Copic markers to give the letters that rusted look. The tree was colored with a green Copic marker and flecks of gray here and there for a weathered look. I colored the star with a yellow marker and then I covered it with a glitter pen for some sparkle. :-)

I love Deadbeat stamps, and anytime I ever get near Salado, I try to get to that stamp shop. Wish I lived closer, because I don't get there often.
Great card that any Texan would love to send.

Love this! I was at Salado Glassworks this weekend and as we were leaving town we saw the Stamp Salado store and said, "we need to come back & check this store out!" This just reinforces that thought!
