This is my card for the alpha challenge letter G post # 2933, and the ways to use it challenge #604, fancy folds. I made a modified gate fold with the opening off center. For letter G, I used a gardenia, gingko leaves, grid paper background, geometric flowers background, green card stock & ink, & a gate fold card. For part 2, every girl loves flowers. Images were colored with sponge daubers and blender pen.

Gee!!! (hee hee hee!) Love all the Gs. I really like the off center gatefold (I'm an off center kind of girl). One thing, though.....a red gardenia? Were you girly enough that you dyed your gardenia to match your outfit???
Love the scent of gardenias- I used to get gardenias for all formal occasions, wore them in my hair, as a corsage, then floated them in a bowl of water for the next few days to keep enjoying the scent.

Love, love that background with the greens and ginkgo leaves, it's gorgeous! Very Art Deco - who needs to buy DP when you can create your own as beautiful as this.
Gorgeous card ms Melody! Gardena's was my tutu's favorite flowers. So of course it is mine as well. It brings back memories of my
tutu ( gma) and how everytime my papa use to go to the mountains to pick ti-leaf he would come home with buckets full of gardenias and tutu use to put them in big bowls with water and place them al over the house. Up and downstairs in every room of the house. Throughout my life I've come to appreciate and love many beautiful flowers. But non could ever come close to the love and memories the gardenias hold for me. Mahalo for the memories!!

I really like your idea for an 'off-center' gatefold . . .it's really more in keeping with how gates are really hung (at least in our area) All the G elements make for a Great card!
