I actually bought the trees die after seeing Kay's cute card (enabler). Yvette's challenge was the perfect excuse to finally try my hand at that fabulous background. I started by stamping snowflakes onto watercolor paper using various colors of distress inks. I then used a watery paintbrush to paint around and over the snowflakes to smear them a little. I used water mixed with a little PearlX to create additional shimmer. I used MFT dienamics to create the sparkly snow mound and added Stickles to the tree branches (and her snowball) for even more sparkle.
The girl is colored with Copics, cut and popped up with dimensionals. I added a few clear sequins too because you can never have too much sparkle now, can you?
