Cathy asked us to use apples or any fruit on our cards today. Using an image from Linda Lover....traced it with a lightbox onto the paper. Used acrylic paint for the leaves, and reinkers for the rest of the image. I just had two wonderful days with GailMN from Iowa who came to visit. We spent some time at Door County Stamps, and the inspiration was fantastic. Using some embossing paste purchased yesterday on the whip cream with added glitter. Using a dip pen, wrote the sentiment. This is so beautiful, Linda! The black bg makes your beautifully painted image pop! I'm in awe of your painting and calligraphy skills. Gorgeous in every way.

Good idea with the light box. What a beauty, too. You've colored it beautifully...once again. How fun to have a visit from Gail. I can imagine the fun you two talented ladies had together.

Oh, Linda, this is gorgeous, and I love the hand-scripting. And I know Gail was looking forward to your time together. Wish I could have joined you, but I know you both had a blast. Isn't it just the best to play with friends from SCS? Thanks for sharing this beauty with us! Hugs!

How cool! Or rather, hot, as I guess that's hot cocoa with the dollop of cream. Lucky you to have a visit with Gail NM, and to shop!!! Love the cup and apples, not a combo I would think of, but I bet it's a yummy snack!!

How beautiful! You're making me want to go downstairs and find an apple - luckily I picked some good ones up at a farmers' market on Saturday so for once I can. I'm glad - all the gorgeous apples for the challenge today would make anybody hungry. And you've compounded that with the cream in the coffee - or even better, hot chocolate. What a wonderful mix of mediums too, with the acrylics, re-inker and paste. As always your calligraphy is amazing!!!
