Maura is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum and Smoky Slate. The dessert option is to make our card a "thinking of you" or sympathy card.
I pulled out one of my all-time favorite stamp sets from Stampin' Up!, Blossoms Abound. I've never used gray for the stem and leaves, but I think it works for this card. I cut the ovals with MFT Inside & Out stitched oval dies, which leaves a stitched element on both sides of the cut, then I inlaid the white oval inside the Razzleberry oval, and taped them together on the back. Then I heat embossed the sentiment in silver on a strip of vellum, and secured it on the back of the panel. Popped it all up on foam tape and called it good!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

The beauty of your card to me is in its simplicity. Clean layers with the only addition a horizontal piece of vellum with the sentiment. Love this, Barbara!
