I really enjoyed browsing Penni's gallery. It's lovely and I got a lot of ideas. I made two cards today because I was inspired to use up some scraps by this card: Ryder's Twelfth Birthday by razldazl at Splitcoaststampers
And then decided that I wanted to make a cake because of this card: Eat the Cake! by razldazl at Splitcoaststampers
I made the cake first then I made the card on the left with the scraps from my scraps card. Haha!
For the sentiment in front of my cake, I stamped it in Season on the clear cellophane that backed on of my clear stamps, then I cut a frame for it so I could glue it on without the glue showing. I think it came out really cool!

How fun is this! I love the colorful strips & that you repurposed the cellophane (I save things like that to use, too!). Wonderful, happy birthday cards.

Thank you so much for playing along in the Featured Stamper Challenge this week. I am so honored that you found something in my gallery worth CASEing. Using scraps to make a card is so satisfying! I hate wasting paper. Both cards you've created are such fun and so colorful.
