I made the background for this card by dragging a credit card through a palette of acrylic paints. After dragging the card through the paint and collecting it on the edge, I dragged the card on white printer paper. I cut the paper to size and layered it with dark orange cardstock. I stamped the leaf in the scattered straw as a base color and then thumped markers to achieve the fall leaf color. I looped the hemp twine and attached a green plastic dot to it before gluing to the leaf. I popped the acorns up on dimensional foam dots at the ends of the twine. The color is much more vibrant IRL!
