Another card for Ky's fun MIX challenge. I was originally planning to add lines inside the flowers too - but I started with just the background space and decided that the petals could be big pieces of glass ;-). Coloured with Inktense pencils and glazed with two coats of Daler Rowney decoupage medium. Thinner and easier to spread than Mod Podge and without that vile smell. I cut them out and layered them onto circles of embossed mulberry tissue, and then added doodled lines around the circles. Added some little scattered Stickles dots, and took a photo. Took several photos, till I captured the Stickles sparkle...and then DH said I had to add a doodled line border around the edge of the card too...
ETA, I meant to say that the little scatter of dots in each corner of the the doodled border was inspired by Francie's stained glass card . I'd just been looking at it when I added the border to this one.

What a fabulous card. I like that the flowers are bigger pieces of glass. It makes them pop. Your hubby has a good eye. The doodles around the edge frame your card nicely and tie in with the doodles around the mulberry paper. Thank you for including the info how you created your card.

Some cards just jump up and scream "perfection"...and this is one of those. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE everything about it. The doodled borders are just the right frame for your gorgeous stained glass flower circles.

This is such a fun, happy card and terrific for the challenge. I love the lines you drew in your flower images and the lines around the card base too! I also love how you colored these gorgeous blooms! Very nice indeed! ~Karen.
