 | | Another card for Ky's fun MIX challenge. I was originally planning to add lines inside the flowers too - but I started with just the background space and decided that the petals could be big pieces of glass ;-). Coloured with Inktense pencils and glazed with two coats of Daler Rowney decoupage medium. Thinner and easier to spread than Mod Podge and without that vile smell. I cut them out and layered them onto circles of embossed mulberry tissue, and then added doodled lines around the circles. Added some little scattered Stickles dots, and took a photo. Took several photos, till I captured the Stickles sparkle...and then DH said I had to add a doodled line border around the edge of the card too...
ETA, I meant to say that the little scatter of dots in each corner of the the doodled border was inspired by Francie's stained glass card  . I'd just been looking at it when I added the border to this one. |
