First I scored the oval piece both vertically and horizontally to mimic the texture of the sisal straw. I cut it into an oval then inked up the honeycomb EF with crumb cake ink and closed it around the oval - no pressure from the Big Shot, just my hands to transfer the ink to the paper. I added dots with the SU marker.
I stamped the crumb cake cs with the splatters from Gorgeous Grunge for a bit of texture. Then it was a matter of stamping and punching flowers, cutting the leaves with the Big Shot and assembling. I added two horizontal rows of ribbon but then mostly covered it up!
I added pearl centers and Wink of Stella to the flowers. Decided the leaves looked a little flat so added veins with watercolor pencil.
Thanks for looking.

Catherine, I knew which hat you selected as soon as I saw your gorgeous card. This hat is popular! I love the honeycomb embossing in the oval and the gorgeous flowers flowing around it. Your card certainly resembles the hat!!
