This is for Loll and Bonnie's CAS mix up challenge ( http://casmixup.blogspot.ca/ ), September it's marbling. I tried acrylic paints and created some pale marble images but then thought I'd try some nail polish marbling especially as the dollar store carries a great selection. Trina P a crafting friend http://mycraftingcloset.com/ found this website http://stampawaywithme.blogspot.ca/2...-marbling.html. The colours were so much stronger with the nail polish, I die cut the image and popped it up on black foam that way you just see the black edge.
I will have a few more to show in the near future

WOW, nail polish! Who would have thought to use that! Love the gorgeous color of that background. You never fail to amaze me in your art and techniques!

The colours of your marbling are so beautiful Christine. And I love the die-cut fern on top. The black foam adds a nice thin frame and makes the colours pop. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

This is so pretty, Christine! I love that bit of blue and copper with the lighter background! What a great idea to pop the tag up with black foam! It adds a nice contrast! Thanks so much for sharing this with us at CAS Mix Up!
