Hello, sweet friends! How can anyone forget the events of this day fifteen years ago – September 11, 2001? I’m sure we all remember where we were when we heard the news and saw the sights that seared our memories. This is a stamp a dear SCS friend gave me recently, and yesterday I just had to color it – as I remembered back on that day and how in the days and weeks to follow we as a nation pulled together despite our differences. May we once again remember today – and never forget.
Thanks for taking a closer look, and I hope you have a wonderful week! Big hugs, sweet friends!

So beautiful and meaningful!!!!
Yes, I belive we all remember where we were and what we did. I was talking to my mother in Norway, watching GMA live as the second plane crashed into the building. May we all try to create a more understanding and accepting world.

Oh Cheryl, I just love this and it was just what I needed to see today....the colors you used are electric. If thus were for sale as a framed image, you would sell tons of them. No mater what the image, your work has such anot uplifting feel to it. Thank you for posting such an inspiring piece. Pinned and faved.

Oh Cheryl, you have such a gentle, loving way that really shows through in your work. I totally agree with the gal above who said if this card were a framed print, you would sell a ton of them- and you would. I love this image and I love the amazing way you colored this to fit such an important, and sad, day in American History! I especially love how you mentioned that we pulled together as a nation after this tragic event. Thank you for making this beautiful masterpiece of a card to remind us so gently of how important today is. ~Karen.

What a perfect stamp to mark the occasion. Yes, even I remember, the shock and disbelief as I heard the breaking news on the radio.
This weekend there is a 3-day road trip for supercars, across the country, to benefit a children's charity; and as the start point was near DH's work on Friday, he went and took lots of photos - one of them was painted in memory of 9/11. Here too we are remembering.
