Hi there!
For today's Inspiration Challenge, Audrie sent us off to an amazing Pinterest board full of letterpress artwork...gorgeous!

The birch tree die was inked with Basic Gray before I ran it through the Big Shot...adds just a hint of colour and then I swiped a bit more gray ink here and there for that birch bark effect. I added a wash of soft blue watercolour around the tree to give it a bit of dimension.

Some frosty splatter and sequins and my card was complete. A sparkly winter birch for the upcoming holiday season!

Your light touch with the colouring on this beautiful card highlights the birch tree wonderfully! I really, really, like that blue wash around it. What a great idea to imbed the die cut into the base!

I have the birch die, and I never gave it a thought. This is so very pretty! The subtle touches of blue and glitter really give this a wintry feel.
