During the last few weeks I have been dealing with hand issues. While they are not completely gone (and some days are better than others) I am on the road to recovery. I went to the craft cave shortly after surgery and wanted to make a card. Everything I came up with that I wanted to do caused pain or I was unable to do. It caused great heartache and I started crying. I walked out of the room and my DH saw me and took me back to the craft room and helped me create this card. I pulled out this image that my wonderful friend Jan (Precious Kitty) sent me and was able to color it but I could not do any hair because I could not flick the hair so I kept it simple and loved it simple. My DH colored the hive, sponged and shaped the flower and colored the darling bee.
I am on the mend typing and a few other things are still difficult but getting better.
Thank you to my sweet friend Jan and my wonderful DH for the help and goodies. I am so blessed!

I love how sensitive your husband is to your love for your hobby. That was so sweet of him to help you put this wonderful card together. Y'all make a dynamite team it appears!!! Hope that hand is better soon, sweet girl!

My prayers for a speedy recovery, Lisa! I know from experience how frustrating working with a handicap can be (skewed vision from a macular hole) - Every aspect of your card is perfect and your DH is quite artistic too!!! God's Blessings to you both as you deal with this.

Oh, Lisa, I'm so sorry that your hand is still healing and giving you problems. My heart just aches. But you've colored this beautiful woman's face so perfectly. How very dear that your DH helped you so much! What a real keeper! I love the you made this a "team effort." And it turned out to be a beautiful card, and it's perfect for today's challenge! Fabulous and very classy! Tender hugs, sweet friend!

This card really stands out in the gallery today, Lisa, and your coloring of the lady is stunning! It is hard to do good skin!!! I'm sorry for your hand issues (sometimes my arthritis precludes my doing crafty things, as well). You truly have a wonderful husband!
