On the digi books, I printed out two of them and cut some of them and popped them up to give them dimension. I also used lacquer on the glasses on the kitty, you just can't see it very well in the photo.

PURR-fectly lovely card! Glad you said how you did the books - it was the 1st thing I noticed about this card. That is quite a studious looking cat, too.
