I made a baby card for a dear friend who became a grand mother for the first time... and used Rhinestones on the front of my card.
A while ago Anita (Snietje ) showed us a folded card and as I like folded cards I was intrigued by the fold and asked her for help.
She mentioned it was from a dutch designer: Nicole Verkooyen and its called a " Pop Up Panel Card ".
Unfortunately Nicole's blog with the tutorial is closed.
I found this video for you by Kevin Devine.
So you can see how this mechanism works...
The pp's that I used are from Marianne Design: "Romantic Nursery": PB7038
and also the images on the front and the inside panel: AK0054-AK0053.
These where cut by hand and made 3d.
The sentiment on the front is from Marianne Design saying:" A cute little baby is born" and the sentiment on the inside is from Joy's Craft saying: " Congrats with the birth of your grand child".
The sentiments were stamped with Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The baby clothes on the inside panels where die cut twice and combined.( white and green).
The card is held closed by a green organza ribbon.
