Janelle has asked us to use school paper in our project. I bought these Project Life journaling cards on clearance at Joann's a few months ago. One side is line printed vertical and the other horizontal like an index card, and the corners already rounded. For my collage I went with the horizontal side and stamped the mosaic outline. A male friend recently had surgery for an injury due to a fall (tore the ligaments in his buttocks/thigh area). This card collage is a mix of feel better so he can get back to doing the things he enjoys. He and his wife host several backyard bbq's throughout the summer and horseshoes are always played. The dotted line at the top represents stitches or staples. I made the band-aid with washi tape on white cs and then punched with the word window punch and colored the gauze area with a marker.

Awesome! What a wonderfully thoughtful card! He's going to love it! Isn't it so fun making those really personalized down to every detail cards? I love it!

There are so many cool details in this, I'm sure your friend will appreciate the thought and care that went into it. The bandaid is really clever. But light beer? Sounds just as bad as low-fat milk, LOL. Have to smile at the syringe and what I presume are spots of "blood"!

This is so creative, he's going to really get a boost of encouragement from it. Love that bandaid idea, makes it so easy with that punch. So glad you played along in the challenge, I love this card.
